New, aesthetic and affordable cafes in Ahmedabad

New cafes: The Theory of Nine and Topspin were among the newer openings EazyDiner featured in February 2026. SBR and Bodakdev are where to look for the next ones.

Aesthetic cafes: The Project Cafe, Turquoise Villa and Kaffa Coffee Roasters have the prettiest settings; Bigly is the pick for a bright, modern interior.

Affordable cafes: Zen Cafe, VarieTea and Roastery Cultur were all listed at Rs 700 or less for two in October 2026.

Famous cafes: Mocha and The Project Cafe are long-running Ahmedabad names that locals still recommend.

Getting there, best time and parking

Ahmedabad's cafes are spread out, so a cab or your own vehicle is the practical choice. SBR complexes usually have basement or front parking; Navrangpura and CG Road are tighter in the evening. Most cafes stay open until 11 pm or later.

The city is hot from April to June, so outdoor seating is best from October to February. Weekend evenings on SBR are busy. Booking is rarely needed for two, but call ahead for a group or a board game table.

Costs and hours here are what listings showed in the month noted. Check the current listing or call the cafe before you go.

How we picked these cafes

We drew on EazyDiner's 2026 cafe-hopping guide, current dining listings and an Ahmedabad cafe directory, opened every page we cite, and noted where a listing was unclear on veg status. No cafe paid to be listed.
