Indian-Chinese Menu List

Chinese menu in Chinese and Marathi

Some cafes print dish names in Chinese characters for decoration. Common ones:

EnglishChinesePinyin
Fried rice炒饭chǎofàn
Noodles面条miàntiáo
Soup汤tāng
Spring roll春卷chūnjuǎn
Chicken鸡jī
Vegetables蔬菜shūcài
Dumplings饺子jiǎozi
Menu菜单càidān

For a Chinese menu card in Marathi, cafes usually keep the English dish name and write it in Devanagari, for example फ्राईड राईस (fried rice), हक्का नूडल्स (hakka noodles) and मंचुरियन (manchurian), because these names have no common Marathi equivalent.

The word menu itself in Chinese is 菜单 (càidān). See menu meaning for Hindi and other languages.
