Getting there, best time and parking
Surat's metro is still under construction, so cabs, autos and two-wheelers are the way to get around. Vesu and Adajan plazas usually have parking; Varachha roads are busier. Vesu to Adajan is a short drive across the Tapi bridges.
Evenings from October to February are the most pleasant time for cafe hopping. Weekends are busy on VIP Road. Walk-ins are normal; call ahead for a group.
How we picked these cafes
We went through EazyDiner's Surat cafe listings page by page, opened every listing we cite, and flagged unclear veg labels. No cafe paid to be included.
